Fernwood Elementary Schools’ benefit concert in 2013 helped fund the building of a Resource Center at St. Kizito Lutengo Primary School in Mukono, Uganda. The students wrote an original song, thanking their friends in America for their generous gifts and the many books they will enjoy as a result.
Lutengo Primary is one of three schools that Sister Schools is supporting in Phase 1 of our COVID-19 Capital Campaign. After twenty-two months of closures, students returned to their campuses to discover dilapidated and damaged buildings.
