It all started with a pack of pencils. Sydney's participation in the Sister Schools program as a 1st grader taught her that she could always make a difference in someone else's life. That she was capable of incredible things and that generosity is limitless. Emiko Kobayashi first encountered Sister Schools as a 3rd grader at Catherine Blaine School; more so than the rest of her classmates, she knew what Ugandan students were going through.
