Uganda Tour 2013

Lift-off in 24 hours

We tucked the charming, hand-drawn-and-written “History of Seattle Alphabet Book,” with illustrations and descriptions of the Ballard Locks, Chief Seattle, Space Needle and other iconic Seattle images and events, safely away in one of the seven duffel bags we’re bringing with us tomorrow. Since we couldn’t resist adding a few more items–jump-ropes, bubbles, playing cards, not to mention a bunch of Sister Schools logo tee-shirts–we repacked and reweighed…repacked and reweighed…repacked and reweighed until all the bags are 50 pounds or just under.
